This is a 1956 thick body 3/4 size single cutaway ES-140 in sunburst finish. Single P-90, and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Pots have been cleaned, but the original tuner buttons were deteriorating, so it has replacement Klusons (originals in case). 4lb 3.5 oz. with a one-piece Honduran mahogany neck with a dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard and 19 thin frets w /inlaid pearl dot position markers, and white side dot markers. Gold silkscreened Gibson logo on the headstock, and black single-layer bell-shaped truss rod cover. Tortoiseshell pickguard ,one volume, one tone control with gold plastic bell-shaped knobs. Brazilian rosewood bridge w/ compensating saddle, nickel plated trapeze tailpiece, Factory order number(FON) V497434 stamped inside treble F hole. Includes the original softshell alligator case, which is pretty well shot. This is one cool little guitar!
