1 of only about 18 acoustic basses made by Mark Stanley in Seattle, Washington, owned by late Irish session legend Dennis Cahill. This is a big boy - 34" scale, 18" lower bout, 12-1/2" upper bout with a 5-3/8" depth. Solid spruce top, mahogany back & sides with wooden thumb rest. Ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays and a 1-9/16" nut width. Very good condition, with a few small dings in the top and some light playing wear, but no cracks or major repairs. Plays well and sounds like thunder! Includes original hard shell case.
