Guitar Works offers lessons in a wide variety of styles. Instruction is available for acoustic or electric guitar, electric bass, banjo, and mandolin. Instruction is one-on-one with the instructor in a private studio here at the store. Lessons are offered all hours that we are open except on Sundays. The rate for a single 1/2 hour lesson is $25.00. If paid monthly, lessons are $20.00 each. Compared to the cost of lessons elsewhere, lessons at Guitar Works are the best value in the Chicago area. In most cases, there will be no penalty for cancellation of lessons with at least 24 hours advance notice. Students canceling lessons within 24 hours of the lesson time will be subject to full payment of the missed lesson at the discretion of the instructor.
